Administrator (HMC)
Herald motorcycles are looking for a new Administrator for our HQ in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Herald is a division of Encocam Ltd.
You will be speaking with bikers and liaising with the dealers; therefore, motorcycle knowledge is essential for the success of this role.

To co-ordinate orders from the sales team ensuring the dealer network is stocked. The Administrator is also responsible for the completion of all necessary paperwork in respect of invoicing and warranty. This includes updating the computer system and making sure there is a professional paper trail for both traceability and transparency should any auditing be required.
Key responsibilities and Tasks:-
- Continuously improve performance within the department, by promoting best practice and accountability.
- Support the sales team in managing relationships with dealers, providing prompt responses to enquiries etc
- Adhere to administrative procedures using the appropriate IT systems and records.
- Be confident in raising auditable paperwork like invoices.
- Maintain, develop, and build long-term relationships.
- Manage warranty and RAC registrations.
- Raise works and sales orders, inform dealers, and take payment in a timely manner.
- Liaise with DVLA to book SVA’s and register motorcycles.
- Make sure all paperwork is provided to the driver for efficient deliveries.
- Provide high levels of customer care for all enquiries to the team with prompt responses.
- Attend weekly sales meeting and report on weekly delivery schedule.
- Manage paperwork trial to keep inline with ISO9001 accreditation.
- Make sure all motorcycles are uploaded correctly to the RAV system and bikes are moved into dealer RAV bins in a timely fashion once payment has been received.
- Organise SVA’s for bikes that do not conform to euro5 standard.
- Ensure a professional, quality service (external and internal) is always provided.
- Be conversant with and assume proper responsibility for the implementation of the company’s health, safety, quality and environmental policies and all other company policies, rules, and arrangements, demonstrating a responsible attitude to fellow employees, customers, and suppliers of the company, leading by example and taking appropriate action where required.
- Working in a 5-S environment.
- Adhere to administrative procedures using the appropriate IT systems and records.
- Liaise with other areas of the Company to support a coordinated and effective service to customers.
- Promote the brand at every opportunity.
- You may be required to train other colleagues as and when requested.
- Any additional work identified as necessary for the smooth operation of the business.
You will have excellent customer skills and experience of using computer systems along with a good working knowledge of motorcycles and the parts that make up a bike. With strong communication skills you will be the go-to point for enquiries from dealers, colleagues and purchasers of Herald bikes.

Parts Sales Advisor (HMC)

- Provide high quality customer service to phone/email/face to face enquiries.
- Keep parts web shop current and up to date.
- Liaise with internal teams to order stock and monitor stock levels.
- Regular review of pricing, both retail and trade.
- Recommended new revenue streams.
- Provide prompt response to all enquires.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with other areas of the business and with external contacts.
- Follow company standards regarding environmental policy, health and safety, and quality control.
- Be able to work under instruction and transfer that into independent work, taking initiative where appropriate.
- Follow “5S” procedures.
- You may be required to train other colleagues as and when requested.

Herald Motor Company are now recruiting for a new Stores/De-Crater. As we continue to expand our range and build the Herald brand we are now looking for a Stores Person/De-Crater to join our workshop team.
To support Herald Operations, to undertake day-to-day tasks of the stores to ensure uninterrupted production.
Key responsibilities and tasks;-
Stock Control
- Ensure timely ordering, booking-in and out, inspection and return of goods with onward transfer to relevant parties when required.
- Undertake daily rolling stock check ensuring reconciliation of physical stock against ASC.
- Liaise closely with production re stock purchasing requirements.
- Ensure the stores organisation is maintained with all areas kept clean and tidy.
Company Schedule
- Archive GRNs and Delivery notes for purchase orders.
- Pick, Pack and Despatch parts as required
- Learn and utilise despatch software
- Daily forklift truck check sheets.
- Ensure the yard is clear of rubbish and that any items stored outside are clean and dry.
- Provide Forklift Truck support as and when requested.
General
- · De-crate and Crate bikes as required
- · Contribute towards the formulation of the Company’s, department and team strategies.
- · Ensure that work is prioritised to ensure that customer needs are met.
- · Adhere to administrative procedures and ensure work instructions are maintained.
- · Co-operate fully with the company regarding all H&S matters and be aware of the importance of complying with H&S Policy to ensure a safe workplace and maintain the integrity of the environment (See P-HS-17175).

Herald Motor Company are now recruiting for a new Senior Motorcycle Technician.
As we continue to expand our range and build the Herald brand we are now looking for a Senior Motorcycle Technician to join our workshop team. You will be involved in building motorcycles as well as undertaking any maintenance or repairs as required. You will also help trainees / apprentices to develop their mechanic skills.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
· De-crating and assembling bikes following build processes.
· Provide high quality customer service by phone/email/face to face enquiries.
· Prepare bikes ready to be delivered to dealers in coordination with the Sales Team to ensure the efficient operation of sales.
· Support Spare Parts operations as required using the procedures and systems as advised – i.e. picking items for despatch and recording sales appropriately.
· Ensure a professional, quality service (external and internal) is provided at all times throughout the various stages of sales and aftersales.
· Take part in project work and bike development proposals with practical and commercially feasible options, planning and delivery as required.
· Represent the Company at trade shows or exhibitions and other relevant bodies to promote Herald Motor Company proactively.
· Any additional work identified as necessary for the smooth operation of the business.
You will be a qualified Motorbike Technician with experience of working in the motorbike industry. You will be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to establish good relationships with colleagues and customers. You will also have a passion for the motorbike industry and be flexible in terms of working hours and be able to travel to dealers and exhibitions as required.
