Established in 2010, Herald Motor Co has been an integral part of the British motorcycle industry for over a decade. Our journey began by partnering with international manufacturers to import and customize retro-styled motorbikes at our headquarters in Cambridgeshire. Over the years, we have significantly evolved, realizing our dream of designing and manufacturing motorcycles in Britain.
In 2019, we took our first major step by releasing the Brat, designed entirely in-house by our Herald engineers. Always forward-thinking, we proudly introduced the Brute 500, our first motorcycle designed, engineered, and manufactured from the ground up in the UK.

Engineering excellence is at the heart of Herald Motor Co. As part of Encocam, an award-winning British engineering firm established in 1988 in Huntingdon, UK, we leverage our vast machining capabilities to produce premium quality motorcycle components.
This unique position allows us to proudly emerge as Britain’s newest motorcycle manufacturer, exemplified by our Brute 500. Our commitment to expanding our range of British-built motorcycles underscores our dedication to superior engineering.

RAC Breakdown Cover
To enhance your riding experience, all newly registered Herald motorcycles now come with 24 months of complimentary RAC Breakdown Cover. This comprehensive package offers the same level of coverage as provided for cars, including At Home, Roadside, Recovery, and Onward Travel services.
Whether your motorcycle needs fixing at home or roadside assistance, the RAC patrol vans are equipped with special trailers and loaders to transport bikes safely. If the bike cannot be fixed on the spot, it will be towed to any location in the UK. Additionally, you’ll receive support from the RAC Accident Care team in case of an accident. This valuable cover is provided at no extra charge, ensuring peace of mind as you ride.
